As humankind moves ahead in a time and space continuum, it seems to me, that the whole construct of our world, is now polarized between two highly contradicting systems that work relentlessly to define our values and purpose on Earth.

On the one hand, religions for better or for worse, foment hopes and beliefs, assign moral values and give to each of us whatever relief is needed to move on with life in a never ending future of unknowns. On the other hand, today’s society of wonders, in its futuristic, almost magical technocratic vision, hopes to move mankind away from these values and instead, make any person believe in an earthly, here and now, paradise.

In this episode of A Refuge in the storm the Walker explores the sharp contrast between the two visions and brings into perspective a view of the Angel; perhaps a needed surprise to quiet down the very loud noise generated by this never ending conflict !

Alors que l'humanité avance dans son continuum spatio-temporel, il me semble que toute la construction de notre monde est maintenant polarisée entre deux systèmes hautement contradictoires qui travaillent sans relâche à définir nos valeurs et nos objectifs sur Terre.

D'une part, les religions, pour le meilleur ou pour le pire, fomentent les espoirs et les croyances, assignent des valeurs morales et donnent à chacun de nous le soulagement nécessaire pour avancer dans la vie vers un avenir sans fin d'inconnus. D'autre part, cette société des merveilles d'aujourd'hui, dans sa vision technocratique futuriste, presque magique, espère éloigner l'humanité de ces valeurs et rêve de faire croire à tout individu en un paradis terrestre, ici et maintenant.

Dans cet épisode d'Un Refuge dans la tempête, le Marcheur explore le contraste saisissant entre les deux visions et met en perspective une vue inédite de l'Ange; peut-être une surprise nécessaire pour calmer le bruit assourdissant généré par ce conflit sans fin.
